HLB
Glass Plate Level Gauge
The HLB series of standard, high-temperature, high-pressure, low-temperature anti-frost, and large-diameter glass plate level gauges can be used directly to indicate the liquid level height of media within various industrial containers.
Material and Temperature Resistance:
• For operating temperatures below 260℃, heat-treated borosilicate glass is employed.
• For operating temperatures above 260℃, heat-treated and specially processed aluminosilicate glass is used, capable of withstanding a medium temperature of up to 420℃.
• A layer of mica is applied on the liquid-contacting surface.
HLBD Large-Diameter Glass Plate Level Gauge:
The HLBD large-diameter glass plate level gauge is specifically designed and manufactured for level measurement of relatively viscous media in petrochemical units. It features a large measurement range, large diameter, fast flow, no clogging, and no blind spots at both ends. It is mainly used for local indication of non-crystallizing media levels in petrochemical units and is particularly suitable for measuring the level of flammable, explosive, and viscous media.
HLBDD Low-Temperature Anti-Frost Glass Plate Level Gauge:
The HLBDD low-temperature anti-frost glass plate level gauge is an instrument designed for measuring the level of low-temperature media. It allows for clear observation of the measured medium level through anti-frost fins. The instrument features a simple structure, is safe and reliable, and durable.
Working Principle
The HLB series color quartz glass level gauge operates based on the optical principle of refraction of natural light within the liquid. It utilizes red and green color filter glass plates to cause the liquid phase to appear green and the gas phase to appear red during measurement. The significant contrast between the liquid and gas phases ensures a distinct and clear indication.
The three-color interface gauge is suitable for applications involving two liquid phases with a density difference, allowing a specially coated glass float to float precisely at the interface. This coated glass float is highly visible, and it simultaneously displays the level with red for gas and green for liquid. The three-color optical interface gauge utilizes the optical refraction principle at the interface between two liquids and between the liquid and gas phases to clearly display both the level and the interface.
